Brandon grew up in Spearville, KS. He graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in Elementary Education in 2004. Brandon enjoys reading books involving adventure. These include historical fiction and time travel stories. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family golfing and fishing.

Scott Rader - Assistant Department Head

Scott was born and raised in Hays KS. He graduated from Fort Hays State University with a BA in Communication Studies. He enjoys the music of Otis Redding, The Roots, The Streets and Zao. His favorite romantic comedy is Say Anything and his favorite western is the Wild Bunch. He also reads avidly, including the Lemony Snicket series and The Life of Pi, just to name a few of his favorites. Currently he also co-writes and performs with local sketch comedy group, clippings.

Emma - YA Library Assistant

Emma was born and raised in Hays, Kansas. She graduated from Hays High in 2006 and attended Washburn University for her freshman year. She now attends Fort Hays seeking to acquire a degree in Mathematics. She loves watching movies and cuddling with her kitten Gabby.

Kayla - YA Library Assistant

Kayla was born and raised in Victoria, Kansas. She graduated from Victoria High School in 2005 and she is currently attending Fort Hays State University pursuing a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. Kayla enjoys being outside, and spending time with her family.

Megan - YA Library Assistant

An FHSU tiger majoring in education, Megan's favorite activities include playing Mario Kart Wii and tennis, and out-eating anyone who thinks they can handle more ice cream than she. She loves animals, has lived in Europe, and traveled all over the world.
