Cool Stuff: New Music & Free Book

Are you into all that band of brothers from Disney . . . you know who I mean . . . The Jonas Brothers?  Well, you might like this band called Tinted Windows, a supergroup of "old" guys (combining members of Hanson, Fountains of Wayne, Smashing Pumpkins, and Cheap Trick), who make some pretty good music of their own.  They may not be for everyone, but if you like good pop rock, like The Jonas Brothers, you may like them.  Oh, and, yes,  their lead singer is responsible for that "MMMMbop" song.

In library related news, Joe Cottonwood, has a free pdf edition of his book The Adventures of Boone Barnaby on his blog.  The book is out of print, but according to sources almost won a Newberry award when it came out.  It sounds like a goofy and fun story.  I haven't read it yet, but I plan on it.
