This week's Poster Poll, What Are You Favorite Words, was suprisingly popular. Of course we had to cover up a few questionable words, but most of you decided to express yourselves creatively and cleanly. Good Job and Great List. For now here are the results, but you may be seeing a few of these words in the near future ;)
The Top 5:
Random (3)
Creeper (3)
Nebekenezzer (3)
Demented (2)
Squeegee (2)

In this month's "weekly" poll question we asked what you thought of Mad Magazine going quarterly (read the story). But even though Mad is easily our most popular magazine, most of the poll responders didn't care all that much. Let's see what happens after the April issue sits on the rack for 3 months before a new one comes out. Maybe more people will be Maddest then.

Here are the results:
Mad (1)
Madder (1)
Maddest (1)
Doesn't really make me mad (5)
P.S. As for our Weekly polls not being weekly, we will try to update them more often, but probably not weekly. We want to give you all some time to respond.

I know it's Thursday, but we haven't posted pictures of our activities in awhile. Yeah, we've been slacking on taking them. But we promise, probably, to get some pictures of the Gak Craft today. Anyway, we did get some pictures of ya'll hanging out and playing some games on Monday. Oh, and a skateboard lightsaber duel . . . which was AWESOME! (and staged, please do not try skateboard light saber duels at home with or without proper supervision.)

DON'T READ AND DRIVE! IT'S NOT SAFE!
I like to read, but sometimes books just get in the road. Ever try to eat spaghetti and read at the same time? Doesn't matter how good you are, it usually doesn't end well. If you read while going for a walk or run, you're likely to trip over a bench. And flowers beware, for anyone trying to mow while reading a book. Well, the Kansas State Library has the solution to these issues.................have your MP3 player read the book for you. Once a book is started, you don't have to use your hands or your eyes.
If you get a free state library card, download a special media console, and have an MP3 player(or even computer), you can get free audiobooks.
Most popular titles are available and it's really easy. Ask us about it at any circulation desk in the library and sign up for a state library card. It takes about thirty seconds.

This is way cool and not a ton of people know about it!
