This weeks poster poll was one of our most artistic and strangest. It seems all of you, or at least a few of you, care a whole bunch about hairless cats. And since you wanted to knit sweaters for them we will allow it as a craft project. A weird craft project. However, another of our most popular choices, taking pictures, isn't a craft project, but a sweet hobby, save it for a later! The numbers this week may seem unbelievably high, and that's because they are. The process of these polls, just putting some markers near some poster board will always allow for slightly skewed numbers and/or cheating. We will do our best to keep you honest, if you promise to do the same. Now on to the list.
The Top 5
Macrame - 59
Knitting Sweaters for Hairless Cats - 14
Duct Tape Crafts - 10
Cardboard Contest - 8
Crocheting - 3
Read on for the rest of the list, and to see pictures of the actual poster.

We've had an exciting week, with a couple new activities that ya'll (it's Kansas, I can get away with that) were pretty excited about. And in case you missed them, well, we will probably do one of them again soon. And the other, well, it's a Valentine Craft, so we will probably not see that one for at least a year. On Wednesday we made microwave cakes. You guys got to mix the batter, cook up your cakes in the microwave, and then frost them up and eat them. Maybe it was just the sugar, but you all seemed incredibly happy with it. On Thusday we made Valentine themed denim pockets. They held cute little stuffed animals, and you could bead them, paint them, etc. We had a few less for this day, but the kids who made pockets were really involved. And we had some great looking final products. See pictures of these activities after the jump.

Often I am sitting up here in the YA and I get the question. You've all asked or thought it, well, most of you have. "Where do you get your shirts, Scott?"
Shirts like these.
Well here's your answer. Threadless.com. Threadless is a t-shirt and poster design company based out of Chicago. Users submit designs into contests and other users vote, then I pay money for winners that I think are funny. So there you go, Threadless.com.
